SCA Recycling UK achieved BS OHSAS 18001:2007
OHSAS 18001 is the internationally recognised assessment specification for occupational health & safety management systems.
The implementation of an occupational health & safety management system within SCA Recycling UK has provided with a framework that will allow the organisation to consistently identify and control our health & safety risks, reduce the potential for accidents, aid legislative compliance and improve overall performance.
The successful certification of all 8 operating units as well as the Recycling head office in Aylesford (UK) was the culmination of 12 months of hard work across the company and has provided with a management system which will enable to continually improve our health & safety performance.
